We are recruiting: we are hiring a skimming plasterer in Renfrewshire, Scotland. The job is in an occupied house during renovation. Requirements: • Knowledge of different plasters, renders and bonding agents • Able to mix plaster to the right consistency by feel The role involves: • Float and rule off walls to a flat surface with a straightedge • Fix and set angle beads, stop beads and corner beads • Skim plasterboard to a smooth finish ready for decoration • Apply bonding and browning undercoats to brickwork and blockwork • Mix gypsum plaster and cement render to a workable consistency Six days a week, one day off. Performance bonus on top of base pay. £2,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
