Urgent requirement: we are hiring a lift mechanic in Leavenworth County, Kansas. You will work on a lift modernisation project. Day to day you will top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts; carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes; replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays; mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators; install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway. You should have: • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
