Hand presser — Northeastern Connecticut Planning Region

Immediate opening: we are hiring a hand presser in Northeastern Connecticut Planning Region, Connecticut. The job is in a busy laundry. You will operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments; use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts; press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching. What we are looking for: • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment We offer $4,600 per month plus benefits.
