Foundry operative wanted in Taylor County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a foundry operative in Taylor County, Wisconsin. You will be based at a busy iron foundry. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings The role involves melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities; shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring. $4,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time with occasional weekends. Contact us to fix an interview.
