Fabrication workshop technician • Gove County, Kansas

Great opportunity: we are hiring a fabrication workshop technician in Gove County, Kansas. You will work at a glazing and fabrication factory. Day to day you will fit EPDM gaskets and brush-pile weather seals along the rails; cut uPVC profiles to size on a double-mitre saw at 45 degrees; insert galvanised steel reinforcement into the profile chambers and screw-fix it; wrap, label and load finished units for delivery without scratching the profile; check the frame for square by measuring the diagonals; read the cutting list and optimisation sheet and label each profile. Requirements: • Knowledge of common hardware systems such as espagnolette and friction hinges • Confident on the double-mitre saw, welder and corner-cleaning machine • Own basic hand tools (tape, square, screw gun) Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
