Domestic electrician — Somerset

Great opportunity: we are hiring a domestic electrician in Somerset, England. Day-to-day duties: • Carry out preventive maintenance on switchgear and busbars • Pull and terminate cables in conduit and cable trays • Isolate circuits and apply lockout-tagout before working • Crimp lugs and terminate armoured cable glands • Replace faulty switches, sockets and light fittings • Check earth continuity and earth pit resistance Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of IS wiring and earthing standards • Comfortable working at height on ladders and scaffolds • Safe handling of live LV circuits and proper PPE use Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
