Light vehicle driver — Polk County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a light vehicle driver in Polk County, Florida. You will be based with a transport contractor. Day-to-day duties: • Report accidents, breakdowns and vehicle damage to the supervisor • Arrange routine servicing and renew insurance and PUC documents • Check tyre pressure and report worn or damaged tyres • Maintain the vehicle logbook and record opening and closing mileage • Deliver goods to customers and collect signatures or proof of delivery • Load and unload parcels and secure the load with straps and ropes What we are looking for: • Physically fit to load and unload goods by hand • Clean driving record with no major traffic violations Part-time with flexible hours. Overtime paid at a premium rate. $3,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
