Lift mechanic — Orange County

Join our team: we are hiring a lift mechanic in Orange County, Indiana. On a typical shift you will replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays; fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments; respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers; test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake; measure rope tension and check for broken strands; mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators. Requirements: • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
