Urgent requirement: steel fixer (West Virginia)

Join our team: we are hiring a steel fixer in Mercer County, West Virginia. You will work on a busy residential building site. Day to day you will set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift; place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing; keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust; bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine; cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Pay around $240 per day, based on your experience. Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
