Join our team: we are hiring a steel fixing chargehand in Rockdale County, Georgia. You will work at a high-rise construction project. Ideal candidate: • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates Day-to-day duties: • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers • Fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings • Assemble column and beam cages on the bench • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
