Great opportunity: we are hiring a milling machinist in Glacier County, Montana. You will work at a busy machine shop. You should have: • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T Day to day you will measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges; deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery; read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence; set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter; apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed. Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Pay around $5,100 per month, based on your experience.
