Formwork carpenter • Barnwell County, South Carolina

We are recruiting: we are hiring a formwork carpenter in Barnwell County, South Carolina. You will plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish; install skirting boards, architraves and dado rails; measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge; erect formwork and shuttering for concrete pours; cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet; apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board. Requirements: • Able to read technical drawings and cutting lists • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time with occasional weekends.
