Great opportunity: we are hiring a packaging worker in City of Newport News, Virginia. You will work in a food packaging factory. Ideal candidate: • Willing to work rotating shifts, including nights • Previous experience on a packing or production line • Attention to detail for date codes and labelling You will weigh and portion products before bagging; strap and band pallets ready for loading; inspect packs for leaks, dents or damaged seals; feed products onto the conveyor belt and clear jams; apply labels, barcodes and batch codes to each pack; seal cartons with a tape gun or hot-melt glue.
