Gas pipeline fitter — Montgomery County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a gas pipeline fitter in Montgomery County, Illinois. You will work on residential and apartment building sites. Day to day you will set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge; read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes; run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints; lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points; test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser; carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply. Ideal candidate: • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches • Clean, methodical and safety-conscious • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces $4,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
