Offshore rigger wanted in Santa Cruz County

We are recruiting: we are hiring an offshore rigger in Santa Cruz County, California. What we are looking for: • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket On the job you will handle: • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle 1+ years on the tools preferred. $5,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
