Milling machinist wanted in Scotland County

Now hiring: we are hiring a milling machinist in Scotland County, North Carolina. You should have: • Able to grind and set HSS cutters • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade Day-to-day duties: • Apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Keep in-process inspection records and log production counts At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
