Join our team: we are hiring a metal caster in Washington County, Pennsylvania. The job is at a busy iron foundry. Day-to-day duties: • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring Ideal candidate: • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry Overtime paid at a premium rate.
