Shuttering carpenter • Buchanan County, Missouri

We are recruiting: we are hiring a shuttering carpenter in Buchanan County, Missouri. You will work in a bespoke joinery workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level • Apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board • Measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge • Read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists • Cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw • Erect formwork and shuttering for concrete pours What we are looking for: • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers • Able to read technical drawings and cutting lists • Accurate to fine tolerances on finish work Six days a week, one day off.
