Now hiring: we are hiring a gas meter installer in Santa Rosa County, Florida. Your main tasks: • Fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls • Carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply • Purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate • Run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints You should have: • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing • Able to read isometric and site drawings $4,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
