Immediate opening: we are hiring a concrete worker in San Mateo County, California. You will be based on a road and bridge project. Day-to-day duties: • Compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing • Cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing • Set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins • Fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule • Discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms • Mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer What we are looking for: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long hours on your feet • 2+ years on RCC and concreting works Rotating shifts.
