Fabrication workshop technician • City of Lexington, Virginia

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a fabrication workshop technician in City of Lexington, Virginia. The role involves: • Drill drainage and pressure-equalisation slots in the outer frame • Install finished windows and doors, pack and anchor-fix them, then foam and silicone the perimeter • Take site measurements of openings before fabrication • Fit fly screens, sills and trickle vents • Fit EPDM gaskets and brush-pile weather seals along the rails Ideal candidate: • 2+ years' experience fabricating uPVC windows and doors • Able to work to deadlines in a busy workshop • Knowledge of common hardware systems such as espagnolette and friction hinges At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
