Day to day you will sand and fill walls before applying primer; hang lining paper and wallpaper, matching patterns at the seams; cut in neat edges along ceilings, cornices and door frames; strip old paint and wallpaper with scrapers and heat guns; apply primer, undercoat and two topcoats with brush and roller. You should have: • Sound knowledge of surface prep and the right primers • Reliable, punctual and tidy on site • Own brushes and basic hand tools 2+ years on the tools preferred.
