Urgent requirement: we are hiring an aluminium TIG welder in Leelanau County, Michigan. The job is at an automotive body and exhaust shop. On the job you will handle: • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run Requirements: • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
