Immediate opening: we are hiring a steel fixing chargehand in Ifako-Ijaiye Local Government Area, Lagos State. Day-to-day duties: • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour • Fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder Ideal candidate: • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites Meals and transport allowance provided.
