We are recruiting: we are hiring a brickwork mason in Garfield County, Nebraska. The job is at a renovation and extension job. The role involves bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters; forming arches, piers and reveals around openings; erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts; mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser; checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod; building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses. What we are looking for: • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
