Great opportunity: we are hiring a lift mechanic in Cumberland County, New Jersey. The role involves replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays; wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches; run load and overload tests with test weights; service the traction motor, brake and gearbox; carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes. Requirements: • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. $150 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
