Requirements: • Driving licence for measure-up and site-fitting visits • Knowledge of common hardware systems such as espagnolette and friction hinges Day-to-day duties: • Cut and weld mullions and transoms into the frame • Fit fly screens, sills and trickle vents • Fit espagnolette locking gear, friction hinges, handles and keeps to the sash • Glaze the double-glazed units, set the packers and bed the glass square 3+ years on the tools preferred.
