Now hiring: we are hiring a waterproofing applicator in Portsmouth, England. Day to day you will wrap HVAC ducts with foil-faced insulation and fasten with banding; seal gaps around windows, doors and service penetrations with sealant; lag hot and cold water pipes with rockwool sections and aluminium cladding; fit mineral wool and glass wool batts between studs, joists and rafters; apply liquid waterproofing to bathrooms and terraces before tiling. Ideal candidate: • Sharp eye for sealing joints and avoiding thermal bridges • Confident using a gas torch to bond bituminous membrane Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
