Immediate opening: ladle pourer (North Dakota)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a ladle pourer in Richland County, North Dakota. The job is at a busy iron foundry. Day-to-day duties: • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles You should have: • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
