Ideal candidate: • Reliable timekeeping and able to work in a team • Own hand tools an advantage The role involves: • Measure up and template countertops and floor areas before cutting • Grind and hone uneven floors flat before the final polish • Level and align slabs so joints stay tight and surfaces sit flat • Polish stone surfaces to a high gloss using diamond pads and polishing compound • Cut marble and granite slabs on a bridge saw with diamond blades Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
