Lifting rigger • Humboldt County, California

Vacancy available: we are hiring a lifting rigger in Humboldt County, California. You will be based on a high-rise building site. You will establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; guide loads through tight openings into their final position; take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings; attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks. You should have: • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear 6+ years on the tools preferred. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
