Urgent requirement: we are hiring a reinforcement steel fixer in Lyon County, Kentucky. The job is on a civil engineering bridge and roads site. You should have: • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling Day to day you will form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions; lap and splice bars to the specified lap length; tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers; install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat. 2+ years on the tools preferred.
