Materials handling operator • Charles County, Maryland

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a materials handling operator in Charles County, Maryland. You will be based on a factory shop floor. Day-to-day duties: • Sweep and keep the loading bay free of debris • Carry out pre-shift checks on the forks, tyres, mast and hydraulics • Keep gangways clear and observe the site speed limit • Position the forks square and tilt the mast to secure the load • Log damaged pallets, leaks and faults in the defect book • Shrink-wrap and label palletised loads before dispatch You should have: • Comfortable working in cold store or chilled areas • Able to manually lift up to 25 kg when required • Minimum 1-2 years' warehouse forklift experience 1+ years on the tools preferred.
