Steel fixer — Lyon County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a steel fixer in Lyon County, Kansas. You will be based on an infrastructure project such as a metro or flyover. What we are looking for: • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) Day-to-day duties: • Fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover • Bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions Rotating shifts.
