Glass and glazing technician • Fayette County, Illinois

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a glass and glazing technician in Fayette County, Illinois. You will be based in a mirror and glass showroom. You should have: • Skilled with silicone guns, putty and glazing tools • Knowledge of toughened, laminated and double-glazed units • Aware of safe glass handling and PPE such as cut-resistant gloves Day to day you will work safely at height on scaffolds and ladders; install toughened and laminated safety glass; measure window and door openings and order glass to size; install mirrors, shower screens and glass balustrades; handle large panes using suction cups and a lifting frame. 6+ years on the tools preferred.
