Requirements: • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection You will carry out 6G pipe welds where required; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; control heat input so thin sheet does not warp.
