Requirements: • Willing to work shifts and overtime • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium Day-to-day duties: • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence Rotating shifts.
