Gas metal arc welder — Marshall County

Join our team: we are hiring a gas metal arc welder in Marshall County, Indiana. You will work at a pipe and tank fabrication yard. The role involves: • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch Ideal candidate: • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • Willing to work shifts and overtime At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
