Urgent requirement: container truck driver (New York)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a container truck driver in Steuben County, New York. You will be based at a container freight yard. On the job you will handle: • Present documents at weighbridges and check posts • Couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock • Reverse and carry out blind-side manoeuvres at loading bays • Report defects and book the unit in for servicing • Log working hours on the tachograph and swap driver cards • Carry out daily walk-around vehicle checks before setting off You should have: • Good knowledge of driving-hours and tachograph rules • Willing to take on night and multi-day trips • Physically fit for long hours behind the wheel Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
