Quality assurance assistant • Calhoun County, Alabama

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a quality assurance assistant in Calhoun County, Alabama. You will be based at a busy manufacturing plant. You should have: • Strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping • Willing to work rotating and night shifts On the job you will handle: • Segregate and quarantine defective or out-of-tolerance items • Operate height gauges, profile projectors and coordinate measuring tools • Verify dimensions against the tolerance limits on the technical drawing • Check visually for scratches, dents, burrs and colour variation • Measure finished parts with vernier callipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Compare components against approved samples and engineering drawings Full-time with occasional weekends. $4,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
