Garment presser wanted in Sanborn County

Now hiring: we are hiring a garment presser in Sanborn County, South Dakota. The job is at a garment factory. What we are looking for: • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep On the job you will handle: • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics • Give each garment a final press before packing • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press • Sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing We offer $130 per day plus benefits.
