Shuttering charge hand • Kalamazoo County, Michigan

We are recruiting: we are hiring a shuttering charge hand in Kalamazoo County, Michigan. You will work on a bridge and flyover project. Day to day you will de-nail, clean and stack the panels for reuse; brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour; cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs; read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters; strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured; watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement. Ideal candidate: • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing • 2+ years on RCC and formwork on building or infrastructure sites Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. $3,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
