Panel beater • Mecosta County, Michigan

Great opportunity: we are hiring a panel beater in Mecosta County, Michigan. You will be based at a busy body shop. On the job you will handle: • Buff and polish the finished panel to remove imperfections • Pull out deep dents with a slide hammer or stud welder • Mask off glass, rubbers and trim before painting • Knock out dents and creases using a panel hammer and dolly • Shrink stretched and oil-canned metal with a shrinking hammer • Mix and spread body filler, then block-sand to a smooth contour Ideal candidate: • Good eye for panel gaps and body lines • Trade certificate in auto body repair an advantage • 2+ years' experience as a panel beater or in a body shop At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
