Gantry crane operator wanted in Palo Alto County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a gantry crane operator in Palo Alto County, Iowa. You will work at a container port and shipping yard. The role involves keep a safe distance from overhead power lines; hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control; read and interpret the load chart before every lift; help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone; follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger. Requirements: • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes • Able to read load charts and lifting plans Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
