Earthmoving plant operator — Yuma County

We are recruiting: we are hiring an earthmoving plant operator in Yuma County, Arizona. You will be based at a landfill site. Your main tasks: • Check for underground cables and services before digging • Keep the cab clean and complete the daily machine logbook • Top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects • Excavate trenches and foundations to the marked depths and grade levels • Work in coordination with the banksman and ground crew on signals • Operate the boom, stick and bucket to dig, lift and place material What we are looking for: • Able to operate excavator, loader and dozer confidently • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • Minimum 2-3 years' experience operating earthmoving machinery At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
