Elevator technician wanted in Champaign County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an elevator technician in Champaign County, Illinois. The job is in a hospital with heavy lift traffic. Day-to-day duties: • Wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands What we are looking for: • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring • Valid driving licence for site call-outs • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
