Concrete shuttering carpenter — Pittsylvania County

Join our team: we are hiring a concrete shuttering carpenter in Pittsylvania County, Virginia. The job is on a bridge and flyover project. You should have: • Confident working at height on scaffold and decking • 2+ years on RCC and formwork on building or infrastructure sites • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long shifts You will read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters; fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure; cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs; watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement; check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line.
