Immediate opening: we are hiring a commercial tyre fitter in Los Alamos County, New Mexico. The job is in a fast-fit workshop. What we are looking for: • Confident operating a tyre changer and wheel balancer • A good eye for tread wear and sidewall damage • 1+ years' experience fitting and balancing tyres On a typical shift you will check tread depth with a depth gauge and spot uneven wear; keep the tyre bay tidy and dispose of scrap tyres; vulcanize larger cuts on commercial tyres; carry out wheel alignment and adjust camber and toe; repair punctures with mushroom plugs and internal patches; balance wheels on a computerised wheel balancer and fit clip-on weights.
