Horticulturist — Rankin County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a horticulturist in Rankin County, Mississippi. You will be based on a golf course. Day-to-day duties: • Rake up fallen leaves, grass clippings and garden waste • Lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn • Operate strimmers, leaf blowers and brush cutters • Check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads • Cut back tree branches and clear overhanging limbs • Water beds and lawns and set up drip irrigation lines What we are looking for: • Able to safely operate mowers, strimmers and hedge trimmers • Previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance Rotating shifts.
