Gas service engineer wanted in East Lothian

Great opportunity: we are hiring a gas service engineer in East Lothian, Scotland. You will be based in customers' homes and kitchens. Ideal candidate: • Able to read isometric and site drawings • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces On the job you will handle: • Purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate • Set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge • Install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation • Test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser • Fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls • Lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points Full-time with occasional weekends.
